Back Bay Sassafras

This soap is almost as good as a visit to Hearthside Farm. We start with sassafras roots, right from the woods and Foxfire~style, make a good old~fashioned tea, nice and strong. Then we add a proper dose of our rich, nourishing goat's milk and a bit of ground sassafras root. The end result is this woodsy, rustic, anise touched bar. For generations, herbwives have used sassafras to treat common ailments, such as gout and rheumatism. Herbalists today encouarge their clients to use goat's milk soap for its theraputic and healing properties. You just have to try a bar of this most unusual soap!

Hello!

Can't sleep! Coughing is keeping me awake! Just read article about Whole Foods opening on Wednesday!

I will be there to buy your soap! I pray lots of people buy it so you can make soap all day long!!!

I love the smell of sassafras! It reminds me of when I was a child living in the country and I would pull it right out of the ground and put it on my bed!

I drove my mother crazy because I kept my favorite outdoor smells in my room and sometimes slept in dirt too! The good old days!
