This soap is almost as good as a visit to Hearthside Farm. We start with sassafras roots, right from the woods and Foxfire~style, make a good old~fashioned tea, nice and strong. Then we add a proper dose of our rich, nourishing goat's milk and a bit of ground sassafras root. The end result is this woodsy, rustic, anise touched bar. For generations, herbwives have used sassafras to treat common ailments, such as gout and rheumatism. Herbalists today encouarge their clients to use goat's milk soap for its theraputic and healing properties. You just have to try a bar of this most unusual soap!
Our soaps are made from the finest natural ingredients, including our farm grown herbs, honey from our hives, and the freshest Nubian goat's milk from our own Hearthside herd

Hearthside Farm's Herbwife

Dedicated to
Scottish Oatmeal and Raw Honey
Unscented and nourished with organic ground Scottish oatmeal and our own raw honey. Our beeswax is rendered, as in days of old, and its beneficial propolis, and healthful nutients added to this already beautiful bar. Milky sweet and great for those with eczema, delicate or dry skin or fragrance allergies as well as for soothing irritated skin. This is the perfect baby bar for tiny toes...
Rosemary and Tea Tree Oil
A truly perfect face and body bar w/tea tree oil, cocoa butter and shea butter. Rosemary has long been considered an excellent cleansing agent as well as having antibacterial properties. Tea tree oil is well known for its antimicrobial and healing properties. We "pepper" this bar with our own organically grown rosemary. Delightful! A real favorite and best seller.
